A few weeks ago, Braden’s Cub Scout pack held their annual Pinewood Derby and Braden’s car, the Red and Blue Racer, won second place for the Tiger Cubs. Since he placed in his den, he was invited to race at the district level, along with the first and third place finishers from his den. That race was held on March 21st at the Orange Park Mall and included Cub Scouts from all over our county.
I want to apologize for the back-to-back giveaway posts. The last thing I want is for my blog to be one big ad, but when it involves a giveaway for you guys, I have a really hard time saying no! I love when I get the opportunity to give things away!
This was one of those rare weekends where it felt like it lasted longer than two days. A big part of that is probably because we pretty much stayed home all day Sunday, which is my least favorite weekend thing-to-do, but the kids wanted to do it so we did!
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but Adam is the Assistant Den Leader for Braden’s Cub Scout pack. I really want to insert a picture here of him in his Cub Scout uniform, but I kind of like being married so maybe I shouldn’t..
Or at least, that’s how it feels. A killer sinus infection, followed by a lovely allergic reaction, has had me on my butt for the last few days. I’ve also been off work since December 23rd, so I think this is the first time I’ve actually turned on my computer since then. I feel like our Christmas break flew by so fast. When it started, I was so excited for two weeks of just hanging out with my family and friends without a ton of obligations, but like usual, we found things to keep us busy and then I got sick.. and here we are. I’m going to try to keep it short today and just share a few pictures of what we were up to before Christmas.
Well hello there strangers! It’s been a while. Things have been busy around here and I haven’t had a chance to sit down and write. I’m going to try to catch y’all up on the big things that have been going on now so this may be a little long. I promise lots of pictures and not too much yacking from me though! Ready?
Hello, hello! It’s been a busy few days around here, I kind of want to skip eating lunch today and just go take a nap instead! I have the recap of my Disney Marathon training below but first I want to tell you about our wonderful weekend!!
