Our neighborhood hosted an Easter egg hunt for all of the kiddo’s today, so we took Braden. He is at such a fun age now and I love taking him to these things, seeing him interact with other kids is just amazing. He’s growing up so fast and learning so much, he amazes us every day. Anyway, enough of the sappy stuff.. on to the eggs!

Clay County Fair
Every year as it starts to warm up and my toes thaw out, I start to see the signs for the Clay County Fair. I absolutely love it. I’ve gone every year for pretty much as long as I can remember and look forward to the fried goodness that it brings.
Playground with Grandma Ruth
Adam’s mom (aka Grandma Ruth) is visiting for the weekend, so we spent the day hanging out with her and B.. after B’s nap, we headed to the playground and Ollie Koala’s. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing day
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Eve!
Braden’s school was closed today, so Adam and I took the day off to spend with him and to get ready for our Christmas visitors. B started off his day with a yummy breakfast.. although, it seems that he thinks its more fun to play with his yogurt, than to eat it.
Busy Day
Busy, Busy Day! We have LOTS of visitors (Grandma Ruth, Granny Gloria, Papa Larry, Sarah Beth and Taylor) and have been running around all day. B was up early, as usual, and hung out with Adam and Grandma Ruth, they had a great time. I got up and headed off to Kelly’s baby shower. She’s due in early February and we can’t wait to meet her little guy!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We alternate who we spend Thanksgiving with every year, so since we were in Bainbridge last year, we headed down to Inverness to visit Adam’s family this year. We took Uncle Allen with us and had a great time. B loved it, of course – he spent the entire day playing with Kayla & Tegan. He loves his cousins
Pumpkin Carving
We were up early (as we usually are with B) and had a great family breakfast – you can never, ever go wrong with the Pioneer Woman’s Blueberry French Toast Casserole. Even our super picky eater loved it.. you know, as long as he had Tegan there to feed it to him.
Races, Pumpkins & Family
Today was one of those days where I had a million things to do and nowhere near enough time to do them all. Unfortunately, I missed going to Celia’s (my cousin Daryl’s fiance) bridal shower.. but I had a very, very good reason.
Uncle Chuck & Aunt Vicki
We headed down to Inverness for the weekend to visit with Adam’s family – his Uncle Chuck and Aunt Vicki were in town visiting from the Outer Banks – they haven’t seen Braden since he was itty-bitty, and we kind of like them (ha!), so we decided to make the trek down South. We spent the day Saturday at Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park with them plus Adam’s mom, brother and Ashley (Justin’s girlfriends daughter).
