Happy Friday!

I actually started writing this post last Friday and never finished it.. Braden has been out of school and we’ve been so busy.  I’m loving the extra time with Adam and the kiddo’s!  We’re running out the door in just a bit to see Frozen, so here’s a quick run down of what we’ve been up to..

Braden’s First Day of Kindergarten

I’m not entirely sure how this happened. He’s still supposed to be an itty-bitty baby.  He is definitely not supposed to be big enough to be headed off to school.  All official with his Spider-Man backpack that he picked out.  A big boy back pack.  No more baby stuff.  He’s told me more times than I care to count that he is definitely NOT a baby anymore.  I suppose it’s time to accept it.

Friday Five

I haven’t felt like writing much this week.  I’ve been sick and thinking about Sammy a lot.  We had a lot going on and we’ve been crazy busy though, so I have lots to keep me busy next week.  I ran four races last weekend – a 4 mile beach run, 5k, 1 mile sprint, and another 5k – so I have recaps for those plus a super exciting one all about Braden’s first day of Kindergarten.  (Here’s a spoiler – he LOVED it!!)  Until then, here’s a few things going on right now..

Pre-K Graduation Lunch

At the end of the month, Braden will graduate from Pre-School.  I’m not quite sure how this all happened so fast, he’s still supposed to be my itty-bitty baby (except he was never itty-bitty).  I’ll spare you the mommy melt-down for today though, but be sure to expect it next week when he graduates.. and next month when he turns five.. and then again in August when he starts kindergarten.  Consider yourself warned.
