In honor of National Puppy Day, here are a few pictures of our boys when they were itty-bitty puppies. It is really hard for me to believe Rex turned one last month and Buddy will be 11 this November. Time is a jerk. It needs to stop flying by so quickly.
Buddy LOVED to be outside when we first got him. I thought he didn’t like us because he’d sit at the back door and whine to go out, then it was nearly impossible to get him to come back in.
He was our very first baby and to call him spoiled would be the understatement of the year.
Rex is about four times this size now! It is crazy how quickly he grew, he’s as tall as Mackenzie now and gets so excited to see the kids that he knocks them over. He doesn’t realize how big he is.
He’s calmed down a lot in the last month or so and you can tell he tries SO hard to be good. It’s hard to fuss at him when I catch him curled up on the couch, even though he knows he isn’t supposed to be there.
As cute and snuggly as they were, I’m so glad we’re past the puppy phase. Well, almost.. one of these days Rex will stop chewing on the kids toys, and shoes, and my arm.. I hope
I’ll be back soon with my recap of the Gate River Run!
So cute!!! ♥ We adopted our dog from the shelter when she was an adult dog, so I have no puppy photos of her. I never got to see her as a puppy.
