Connor’s Baby Shower

My cousin, Brock and his wife, Allison have a baby on the way! Little Connor should be here sometime in early November, so the family got together to celebrate and shower them with lots of love and baby gifts!

My awesome cake decorating skills!

Daddy and Mommy to be!

B with Mattie and Malori – he loves them :)

My handsome boy!

Children Around the World Parade

B’s school had its annual “Children Around the World” parade today. Each class dressed up to represent a different country – the EPS1 (aka Early Pre-School 1, aka young 2′s, aka B’s class) represented Japan! How his teacher managed to wrangle so many toddlers is absolutely beyond me. She probably has more patience in her big to than I do in my entire body!

It was a bit chaotic..

I think he spotted us :)

B’s Teacher

So handsome!

B’s little buddy KJ, representing France

Yum! Cookies!

Riverside Arts Market

I’ve heard a lot about the Riverside Arts Market – several of my friends have raved about it and I’ve been itching to go for over a year now. We finally had a Saturday where we didn’t have anything to do, so off we went!

We met up with some friends and had a really great time.

There was a guy performing an escape show – he was tied up in 2 straight jackets and chains, then suspended upside down. Adam was invited to participate in the show and helped the guy get into the jackets and onto the suspension tripod.

The boys got balloon animals from a clown.. because no trip to a fair/market is complete without a balloon animal!

Jenn & Keith’s friend, Matt Collins, was playing – so we grabbed some lunch (by the way, the food there is DELICIOUS!) and sat to listen for a bit. He puts on a really great show, so if you get a chance to go see him, definitely do it.

Braden decide to have some fun too.. he practiced his stage diving techniques and perfected his roar.

All in all, a really great day. We look forward to going back soon!!

Bradensaurus

So, Braden has two loves.. trains and dinosaurs. I’m pretty sure he loves me and Adam too.. but trains are top dog around here and dinosaurs are a close second. One of my mommy friends also has a little dinosaur lover on her hands, and she made these super cute dinosaur t-shirts as favors for her son’s 3rd birthday party.

Thankfully she graciously offered to make a few extras, so we got one for Braden.. how cute is this? I love it!

Mr. B has also become fond of my sunglasses.. he steals them any chance he gets :)
