Potty Time?

I realize it has been a while, but I’m going to try to catch up! Work has been really, really busy lately.. I’ve barely been able to keep up with the stuff I have to do, much less little luxuries like editing photos and writing blog entries. Boo :(

Anyway, Mr. B asked to sit on the potty, which totally shocked us because he’s never shown interest in the potty at all, ever. We went out and bought him a little Cars potty seat, he’s asked to sit on it a few times, so we happily oblige. He’s yet to do anything in the potty yet, but at least he knows what it is!

Also, Adam is working on a new corn hole game. His grandpa made one for him and his cousins when they were younger, so he wanted to make his own instead of buying it. Hopefully it will be done in time for Braden’s birthday party!

Day Out with Thomas

As many of you know, Braden loves Thomas the Train.. absolutely LOVES him! Adam’s boss told us about the upcoming Day Out with Thomas and how much fun his son had a few years ago when they went, so we decided to take him. Unfortunately, it was the same weekend as my soon-to-be cousins bridal shower, but thankfully she was incredibly understanding, so we headed down to my mother-in-law’s for the weekend.

Honestly, we were a little underwhelmed with the entire thing. Braden had a blast, but there really wasn’t anything special about it. They had a little train ride, much like the one at the mall (which Braden loved, and rode 3 times in a row), some sand tables and of course a few train tables. There were a few concessions and, of course, a gift shop. There was also the big Thomas. B freaked when he saw Thomas, seeing his face made it absolutely worth it. The ride itself was kind of eh.. we thought the entire train would be cutesy Thomas themed, but they were just regular passenger cars. Braden loved it though, and that’s what matters.

Spring Fling

Braden’s school had its annual Spring Fling tonight to raise money for Wolfson’s Childrens Hospital. We had planned on heading down to his moms house around 5, but decided to stick around for it. B cracked me up, when he realized where we were going he started fussing and doing his normal morning routine – “NO SCHOOL!! NO MOMMY! SCHOOL!! NO!!”. Once he realized we weren’t there to drop him off, but to stay and play, he had a fabulous time!

Multitasking

He cracks me up..
