We’re Still Alive!

Well hello there strangers!  It’s been a while.  Things have been busy around here and I haven’t had a chance to sit down and write.  I’m going to try to catch y’all up on the big things that have been going on now so this may be a little long.  I promise lots of pictures and not too much yacking from me though!  Ready?

Malori & Josh’s Wedding Weekend

Y’all, my baby cousin got married.

Okay, she’s not really a baby. Not anymore anyway, but it darn sure feels like she is.

First things first, take a look at this gorgeous venue.

It’s actually a Christmas Tree farm.  I wasn’t sure what to expect when we got there, since most of the Christmas Tree farms I’ve been to (you know, in Florida, where Christmas Trees don’t

It’s our anniversary, almost!

Actually our anniversary is tomorrow, but we celebrated tonight, since our special day actually falls on a Sunday. How is it even possible that it has been six years?! I guess the old saying is right, time flies when you are having fun! We spent the day at a birthday party for one of Braden and Mackenzie’s little friends.

After the party, we rushed home and changed and my parents

Our Trip to Tampa

We were in Tampa this weekend for Colleen & Jonathan’s wedding. Since we had most of the day to keep ourselves entertained, we headed to The Florida Aquarium. We were a little let down, it was much smaller than we expected, but Braden had a wonderful time and really, that’s all that matters!

We signed Braden up for the Penguin Encounter – he got to meet penguins and

5 Years!

Happy 5 Year Anniversary to us! We’re not doing anything big to celebrate, since it’s Easter weekend, but I thought I should at least mention it! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years, it has FLOWN by. We’ve had such a wonderful first 5 years of marriage, I can’t wait to see what the next 5 have in store for us!

NYC – Day Two

Adam didn’t have to be ready to do the best man thing ’til 2ish, so we spent the morning wandering around and sight-seeing a bit. We were total touristy nerds, but we had a blast. We had breakfast at a little diner just off of Times Square, then headed to the Rockefeller Center to check out the view from the Top of the Rock.

Then we headed out (I could tell you a direction, if I knew

Drew & Amanda’s Wedding

I love weddings. I do. I especially love weddings that are relaxed, laid back and fun. You know, the ones where the bride is smiling the ENTIRE time, even when it starts raining and the DJ has to shut everything down halfway through the reception to move his equipment. Where instead of pouting and going all bridezilla on everone, she gets her friends out on the dance floor and keeps the fun

Daryl & Celia’s Wedding

We headed to Bainbridge today for Daryl & Celia’s wedding – it was absolutely beautiful. I missed most of the ceremony because I was hanging out with Braden, but the reception was just wonderful. She didn’t miss a detail, and the sunset was GORGEOUS. Daryl and Celia could not have asked for a better night. I’m so thrilled for them, congratulations you guys and welcome

Brock & Allison’s Wedding

We started off the day hanging out at the hotel.. Braden crawled around and pulled up on everything. He’s a handful and a half now!

We had breakfast there – Braden was little Mr. Piggy. He ate two waffles and some cereal. Actually, about half of it ended up on the floor.. but he ate a decent amount of food! We spent the early afternoon hanging out at Aunt Threasa’s house with her
