Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!

We had a very relaxed day. Braden wasn’t a huge fan of wearing his Halloween costume, despite the fact that he refused to take it off and wore it out of the store when we bought it. Oh well :) He helped us hand out candy instead and we painted pumpkins!

Forgive me, I don’t have pictures of the pumpkin painting.. our camera is in the shop and I was using my moms.. which didn’t really survive the festivities last night.. so the pictures I tried to take didn’t really turn out.

Happy Birthday Aleisha!

This week was the week of birthdays.. mine along with a handful of our friends! It was a big birthday for our friend Aleisha, her 30th! To celebrate, she and her husband rented a limo and we all got rooms at the Marriott at Sawgrass for the night.

We headed down to St. Augustine and had dinner at Cellar 6. If you haven’t been, you should definitely try it. Their shrimp and grits were DELICIOUS!!

We left St. Augustine and headed down to Jacksonville Beach.. things got hazy for the boys after that, but these two pictures should tell you that Adam and Eric definitely had a good time and became fast friends!

Mr. B opted not to tag along, he hung out with Grandma and Grandpa and showed off his super cute Halloween costume (he was Buddy the T-Rex from Dinosaur Train) at Walgreens and Publix.. he seemed to enjoy it, don’t you think? :)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to me! :) I hope you got all of your birthday wishes out today, because after this one, I’m done celebrating. I’m 29 and I plan to stay here.. my 20′s have been very good to me, so why rock the boat?

Unfortunately, since I’m an adult and all, I had to work today. After dinner, we went to Kan Ki (a Japanese steakhouse) for dinner with my parents and my little brother, then back to the house for cake, presents and ice cream!

Adam has been spoiling me all week with gifts each day, and so far today’s was my favorite – a new charm for my Pandora bracelet! It’s a silver squiggly thing with purple stones. My mom and dad gave me cash, which I plan to save and put towards the new shoes I’ve been drooling over for the last few weeks.

Outside of that, we didn’t do a whole lot. We’re having a BIG celebration with some friends this weekend (Brad’s and Mel’s birthday was Tuesday, mine Wednesday and Aleisha’s is Thursday) and I can’t wait!

Do you think he liked the cake?

I think so :)

Pumpkin Patch

It’s Pumpkin Patch time!! This is actually our 2nd trip to a pumpkin patch this year, but unfortunately my camera died (like would not turn on, it’s at the camera doctor awaiting $200 in repairs!) so we didn’t get any pictures. I told Adam that wouldn’t do, so we borrowed my parents camera and headed to a pumpkin patch near the house after work today. B is a huge fan of pumpkins.. he cracks me up. He sees them and yells “unkin! I eat unkin!”
