I forgot to post this before we found out the gender.. its kind of amusing though..

So, my mom swears by the drano test to determine the gender of your child. Basically, you pee in a glass container then put in 1-2 tablespoons of drano crystals, and based on what happens to the little concoction, you can tell if its a boy or a girl.. so, we messed it up the first time, we put the drano in first and poured the pee on top of it.. it was a big foamy, smelly mess!

I called my mom and she explained how to do it properly.. this is what I ended up with..

According to her, it will turn muddy with a blue ring around the top if its a girl and will be pretty blue if its a boy (I think, I can’t remember).. she said if we’re unsure though, have Adam do the test too, his will show you want a “boy result should look like”.. here’s Adam waiting for the result..

I don’t know if all pee reacts the same with drano, or if it actually worked.. but mine matched his, so I guess it worked for us!
